Module for automation in immunohematology

The turntable module works directly on the deck of a pipetting robot. It is designed for the Hamilton STARlet.

The turntable carries the anduro gel card rack for twelve cards and a holder for standard microplates, for example 96-well plates. The rack has the footprint of a microplate, so the robot's gripper moves it like a plate.

The gel cards are read by the reader module. It has the same functions as the cubeReader. Imaging and evaluation run on the module itself, and it reads the card barcode. It is operated through a web browser. It works standalone, connected to a cubeEvaluation instance on a PC or server, or as a vision sensor for the robot's control software.

Microplates are read by a separate camera mounted on the ceiling of the robot enclosure.
